RUSNANOTECH (rus. Международный форум по нанотехнологиям) — a global platform for discussing issues of nanoindustry and commercialisation of new technologies, which hosts the international exhibition of achievements in the field of nanotechnology RUSNANOTECHEXPO.

The International Nanotechnology Forum RUSNANOTECH is held in Moscow on an annual basis. The first International Nanotechnology Forum was held in December 2008; it demonstrated the growing scientific and technological potential of Russia in the field of nanotechnology and aroused interest among all the participants of the innovation process: scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, sponsors, representatives of federal and regional authorities.

Top officials of the country take part in the Forum; in 2009 President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev opened the Forum, thus stressing the special attention of the state to the development of innovative economy and nanotechnology. RUSNANOTECH 2009 was attended by more than 11,000 people from 38 countries.

The Forum program consists of two sections: the Business section and the Science and Technology section. The Forum also hosts the ceremonies of the International Award in the Field of Nanotechnology RUSNANOPRIZE, Russian Nanotechnology Prize for Young Researchers, International Competition of Scientific Papers in Nanotechnology for Young Researchers and the exposition of products made with use of nanotechnology.

Since January 2010, in accordance with the decision of RUSNANO’s supervisory board, the Rusnanotech Forum Fund for the Promotion of Nanotechnology Development has been in charge of organisation and conduct of the annual RUSNANOTECH International Nanotechnology Forum; the activities of the Fund are focused on the development of nanoindustry in Russia and popularisation of nanotechnology and innovative achievements in Russia and abroad.
