nanoporous material (rus. нанопористый материал) — material containing pores sized in the nanoscale (~1–100 nm).

Description

This term is used to indicate that a material's specific properties (e.g., sensory, adsorption, catalytic, diffusion and other properties) are determined by the presence in the material of nanopores. Nanoporous materials include the majority of existing membranes, sorbents and catalysts.
